Beginning in July of 2024 will be offering the opportunity for Salmon Charters out of Olcott, NY on the 34' King Cat. This is one of the most powerful freshwater fish in the Great Lakes that one can catch. These trips are strictly trolling trips using downriggers, wire divers, and copper rods reaching depths of 100' or greater.
We will be moving the 34' King Cat to Olcott early July and will start running charters soon after launch and will continue up to Labor Day. These trips are primarily for groups up to 4 people with 5 people as an option. Lake Ontario salmon charters are not a "6 person" fishery due to the number of lost fish from fight of these powerful fish. Daily limit on Lake Ontario is 3 fish per person per day and a "good" typical day will range from 6 to 12 fish boarded. Species that you can expect to catch here are King and Coho Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, and Steelhead Trout.
